To be totally happy . . .

that is my goal for the new year. How does one remain in a constant state of happiness? I would say by not allowing yourself to be burdened by unhappiness. It is inevitable that one will be faced with issues that may be difficult or down right back-breaking at times. The objective is to not let these issues get the best of you. Whatever problems that I may face from day-to-day I must remember that it is only temporary. In addition, our problems are not necessarily meant for us. They are preparing us so that we can help the next person who will go through a similar trial.

With this in mind, I need to keep positive thoughts in my head. It is always helpful to associate with others who are positive and encouraging as well. In future difficult situations, I will try my best to see the brighter side of whatever it is that I'm dealing with. Keeping in mind that 'trouble don't last always'.

Peace and happiness in 2005.

Interesting thoughts. Each year, in January, I ask myself the same question: how can I be happy? I like your answer :o).
